King of Redonda
Hello! I wanted to introduce myself to the community! My name is Jenesy Claire, and I am the founder and designer of King of Redonda Children's Swimwear.

Growing up on a small island in the Pacific Northwest of the United States, Jenesy and her friends were those barefoot kings and queens, treasure hunters, explorers, and adventurers. The King of Redonda brand captures that twinkle-toed spirit through its designs, keeping the imaginations of children in mind. Bright colors and quirky images are paired with comfortable and functional swimwear. There’s so much more on the horizon…"
Before moving to Singapore I was doing freelance children's illustration and textile design, while trying to write and illustrate my own children's books. When we moved to Singapore I began to focus more on textiles due to the region. In talking with many of my friends who are mothers, the biggest gripe was lack of children's swimwear options that were cute AND functional. I started designing the first collection for King of Redonda in December of 2017, and by summer of 2018 it went from a concept to reality. I did not go to fashion or business school, but I did know how to make cute clothes that kids want to wear! It has been a crazy and fun journey so far, but realized I need to find a community of like minded women who might have gone through or are going through similar things. I am excited to be a part of CRIB!
